Welcome to what we hope are the most useful resources and articles on the Internet about Fibromyalgia and the chronic pain it causes.  The exact cause of Fibromyaligia is unknown, and treatment options vary.  Patients present with insomnia, non-restorative sleep and generalized pain. Other common symptoms include: irritability, nervousness, impaired memory and concentration; headaches, dizziness, blurring of vision, eye irritation, sensations of heat and flushing or actual sweating; unexplained anxieties; nasal congestion, post nasal drip; abnormal tastes, ringing in the ears; restless leg syndrome; gas and bloating,; symptoms of bladder or vaginal infection; TMJ. Trigger points are seen in most patients.  Patients complain of pain and dysfunction specific to the affected muscle: neck, back and hips.
